The subjects include – Language Arts (French & English), Mathematics, Science and Social Studies, Geography, Art – that are taught by classroom teachers. Students also have Physical Education, Computer literacy and Music taught once or twice a week sometimes by a specialty teacher.
Assessment
Assessment plays an important part in helping teachers and parents to recognize children’s progress, highlights areas in which some additional support might be needed; and focus particularly on any areas where there is a concern that a child may have a developmental delay.
They are assessed two times per trimester – mid-term and at the end of each term.
