Founded in the fall of 2014, Cosmopolitan Bilingual School is a vibrant creative bilingual school located in the heart of Dakar catering to the needs of children 2 to 12 years of age.
We are committed to educating the whole child, striving to provide quality education in a warm loving environment. Here foundation is laid, cultural barriers are broken, developing and nurturing their sense of wonder, inspiration and curiosity.
In recognition of parents as our student’s first educators, we work in partnership with families reinforcing positive values already acquired. .
Our approach

Our Program is designed to spark curiosity and a desire to learn in young children leading them into the next step of their academic journey.

Our program:
A French program 60%, based on the Senegalese educational system.
An English program 40% as:
- English as a Second Language (ESL) taught to native speakers.
- English as a Foreign Language (EFL) taught to non-natives.
Children without any knowledge of either English or French or both are initiated to the acquisition of these languages through the use of visual aids with the view of acquiring a solid linguistic foundation in both areas.
We create an environment rich in English and French Language. Dual language activities are planned, bilingual books, posters, toys and learning tools are found throughout the classroom. As children move through our program, the number of words learned each week increases and the more fluent he/she becomes in both languages.
